October 13th: Amazons Prime Day

From the 13th – October 14th, Amazon will be running its Prime Day event. “Over one million deals across every category” will be featured on this two-day shopping event. The deals will be coming from brands like Panasonic, Roborock, Keurig, Under Armour, Coleman, Adidas, Lacoste, Ticwatch, Marvel, and others.

Amazon aims to support small businesses and will incentivize customers to purchase from them in the run-up. Starting today until October 12th, Prime members will receive a $10 credit, which can be used to buy from small businesses on Prime Day. More than $100 million will be spent by the company to promote small businesses through Prime Day and the holiday season.

Prime Day is usually hosted in July, but due to COVID, it got rescheduled to October. Amazon has sold more than $6 billion worth of products on its Prime Day events, according to analysts. You will probably be able to find great discounts for Amazon hardware, such as the Kindle e-reader.

Amazon released a wide range of new hardware, but most of it can’t be shipped until after Prime Day. As of today, you can already buy two Echo Dots for $39.98. The new Dot is coming out on October 22nd so keep that in mind.

So tune in for Prime Day, which will start at 3 Am ET on Tuesday, October 13th and will be held in the US, UK, UAE, Spain, Singapore, Netherlands, Mexico, Luxembourg, Japan, Italy, Germany, France, China, Canada, Belgium, Austria, Australia, Turkey, and Brazil.
